Music is a structured, expressive system. My teaching approach helps students understand that system in a way that feels intuitive, creative, and deeply personal. Whether you're learning your first chord or exploring advanced improvisation, the goal is the same: to build real musical fluency, not just memorized shapes.

A Systems‑Thinking Approach to Guitar

I teach music the way a systems engineer understands a complex design: by revealing the underlying architecture, showing how each part connects, and helping students recognize patterns instead of fragments. When you understand why something works, you learn faster, retain more, and become a more expressive musician.

Interactive Tools That Make Theory Click

To support this approach, I build my own interactive instructional tools — SVG‑based fretboards, interval visualizers, modal transformers, and cross‑instrument mapping systems. You can explore these tools at finga.studio.

Learning Through Structure, Not Memorization

My lessons emphasize intervallic thinking, functional harmony, chord‑scale relationships, modal transformations, and the recursive patterns that appear across the fretboard. This approach helps students:

A Human‑Centered Teaching Style

Every student learns differently, and every lesson is shaped around your goals, your pace, and your musical taste. The systems I build are there to support learning — not to replace the human connection that makes music meaningful.
